Safety and Crime Prevention

Officer Schmidt is the Pro-Active Community Enforcement (PACE) Officer for Rosewood. PACE Officers work to establish a relationship between neighbors and the police department and to find solutions to our specific problems.

Officer Schmidt attends community meetings to hear neighbors’ concerns, and you can reach him at 315-9143.

What can you do to help?

  • Immediately call 911 if you see a crime in progress.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and call 252-2911 to report suspicious behavior, such as someone peering in a car or home window, walking up and down different driveways, or circling slowly around the block.
  • Purchase a crime watch sign for your street.
  • Fill out a traffic complaint to report speeding problems.
